The Association of Inbound Agencies (URA) was established in 2019 through a joint initiative of inbound tourism agencies in Serbia, with the desire to jointly influence positive changes in legislation and the treatment of inbound tourism agencies. The founding assembly of URA was held on April 1, 2019, at Terazije. Initially, 20 travel agency organizers joined the association, and over the next three years, an additional 4 inbound agencies joined. From the day of its founding to the present, the members of the association have influenced the creation of new legal acts concerning the inbound branch of tourism in Serbia through joint initiatives. They have participated in working groups for the development of regulations on DMC agencies, regulations on the categorization of travel agency organizers, modules of CIS software for travel agencies, and the commission for the allocation of subsidies. Representatives of the Executive Board and working groups of URA are in constant communication with representatives of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, MTO, the tourism inspection sector, and representatives of other tourism associations in Serbia.
URA represents a representative association that gathers more than 25 tour operators and agents whose main activity is inbound tourism. Potential members of the association must meet high professional and ethical standards, as well as demonstrate an enviable knowledge of the destination in order to join our association.
